02:14The part nobody warns you about

Recording was never the bottleneck.

You finish an episode and the work starts over. The show notes you keep putting off. The clips you meant to cut. The posts you’ll write “later.” Meanwhile the episode you already made — the good one, the one with the story people would actually share — quietly stops earning anything the day after it drops.

  • “I spend way too long promoting each episode on multiple platforms.”

    r/podcasting

  • “Writing show notes is the boring part I keep putting off.”

    r/podcasting

  • “It feels like I’m wasting good content if I don’t repurpose it.”

    r/podcasting

  • “I’m a podcaster, not a full-time marketer.”

Aftershow does the part you keep putting off.

05:31One episode in

Everything out.

  • Vertical clips, rendered

Four to six moments cut, reframed, and captioned. 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9. Download and post.

  • Show notes

Episode description, chapter markers, five title options, key takeaways, and pull quotes. Paste-ready.

  • Platform packs

Per clip: a TikTok caption with searchable hashtags, a keyword-forward Shorts title, a Reels caption, on-screen text suggestions, and the verbatim spoken hook so you can confirm the cut.

  • Three LinkedIn posts

Different angles, written to be read — no “I’m excited to share.”

  • An X thread

Five to eight posts. The first one works standalone.

  • A newsletter draft

Subject line, body, and a pull quote from the episode.

  • A full transcript

Searchable, speaker-labeled, editable. Export as TXT, SRT, VTT, or CSV.

09:47Three steps, no prompts

From upload to a full kit.

    Bring the episode

Upload a file or paste your RSS feed. Audio or video, up to 90 minutes.

  2. +4:12

    Aftershow finds what’s worth posting

It reads the whole conversation, finds complete moments, and writes everything around them.

  3. +8:30

    Edit what you’d change

Every field is editable. Every edit teaches it your voice.

13:02Built for conversations

Made for two people talking, not one person monologuing.

Most clip tools were built for a single speaker facing a camera. Podcasts aren’t that. Aftershow is built for crosstalk, interruptions, and three people finishing each other’s sentences — it tracks who’s speaking, and it never cuts mid-sentence.

  • Complete thoughts, not fragments.

A clip is only worth posting if a stranger can watch it cold and get it. Aftershow looks for a full story, a real answer, or a joke that lands — with its setup and its payoff intact.

  • Four to six clips. Not thirty.

You don’t need more inventory. You need clips you’ll actually post. Aftershow returns the strong ones and skips the filler — if an episode only has three, you get three.

  • Captions that track the words.

Word-level karaoke captions, burned in, positioned clear of the platform UI.

17:20It learns

It sounds more like you every week.

Every tool in this category hands you the same drafts on day one and the same drafts on day ninety. Aftershow watches what you change.

Rewrite a hook, cut a line, swap a phrase — those edits become examples. By the third episode the drafts arrive sounding like you wrote them, because in the way that matters, you did.

Your edits stay yours. They train your voice profile and nobody else’s.

Generated → your edit

“I’m excited to share a few thoughts on why most podcast advice misses the mark.”

“Most podcast advice is written by people who’ve never shipped 200 episodes. Here’s what actually moved the needle.”
Saved to your voice profile — the next draft starts here.
21:08How this is different

No prompts to write. No templates to pick.

Other tools give you a workbench: prompt libraries, chat windows, settings to tune. That’s fine if repurposing is your job. It isn’t yours.

Aftershow is an appliance. One upload, one finished kit, nothing to configure.

27:50Questions

Straight answers.

Does it work with video?

Yes. Upload video and you get rendered vertical clips with burned-in captions. Audio-only episodes get the full text kit and timestamped clip recommendations.

What if the clips it picks are wrong?

You approve every clip before anything renders, and you can adjust the framing or reject a clip entirely. Nothing gets made without you saying so.

Does it post for me?

Yes, on the Creator plan. Connect your TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook accounts and Aftershow proposes a posting schedule across the week. You approve what goes out — nothing publishes without your say-so — and it posts on time.

How does it handle multiple speakers?

Speaker separation is built in, and it’s the case we designed around. You can rename speakers, and those names flow through everything it writes.

What happens to my audio?

It’s stored privately in your account. We don’t train shared models on your episodes, and your voice profile is yours alone.

Can I edit what it writes?

Every field. And you should — that’s how it learns your voice.
